Hide’s a really good friend to Kaneki.

He knows when Kaneki’s feeling down
and he knows how to cheer him up, too

but I wonder…
who’s there for Hide?

Obviously, he’d never go to Kaneki–that would be way too selfish
Kaneki already has so much on his shoulders, after all
and it’s not like Hide even has a reason to be sad, right?

Sure, he has other friends, but none as close as Kaneki…

He I think is THE most mysterious character in Tokyo Ghoul, right up there with Arima
We were never given his blood type or a lot of information unlike other characters when introduced.
We know nothing and I mean nothing about his family except that in the anime he’s shown in a dark room in a house alone staring at a screen looking for Ken.
What did this poor boy have to go through?
