I also think it’s important that we got that scary picture exactly when Mutsuki was showing sympathy toward Torso. It’s the same trick Ishida has used before with Torso. In both his diary and his love letter there were parts which seeme pretty sweet, but the end was always mind blowing and sick. The same goes for this chapter. We saw a sad story and when the reader (together with Mutsuki) shows pity to Torso we get that picture.

I want the Clowns to hurry up and make a move, but like, not at the cost of Yomo’s life.

I mean, I think if Arima kills Yomo, Uta and Itori will push to actually do something, and their force to do so is the Clowns.

But this is not how I wanted it to happen. Dammit Sensei, this isn’t what I wanted at all.

Wait sorry but what are the puns on “Kanekichi” and “Kissho” that it relates to them maybe being Washuus? Kaneki and Arima do look alike it’s true, so yeah maybe there is a link between them.

Apparently, Kanekichi and Kissho can be written with the ‘yoshi’ (吉) from the Washuu names.

Kanekichi = 金吉
Kissho = 吉将

That’s about it really but it’s kinda strange since Kaneki is a last name while Kishou is a first name;;

(On a more serious note, it kind of reminds me of his behavior in Jack. He sometimes seems uncertain of how to deal with Fura, especially when the other boy would stand up for him or help him. Like….what is this friendship thing? What is this Feel?)

Initial Leaks: Wow, Arima is such a dirtbag. Wow, so much anger at him for torturing Kaneki.

Actual Scans: …..fuck me up, Arima saved him from a vicious cycle of self-harm and starvation, gave him back some semblance of sanity, and encouraged him to pick his own name. He looks very unprepared for Baby Haise smiling at him like that.

I don’t usually read Tokyo Ghoul scanlations beside THS, but I took a look at MS today and let me say, I am impressed with the amount of mistakes. Let’s take a look at the latest Tokyo Ghoul re: scanlated chapter VS what the characters actually say, for posterity’s sake. And then I’ll go translate more of Ishida’s tweets.

Okay, so he doesn’t say her name, but he clearly means Itori here. Might’ve wanted to mention this, although it’s not that big of a deal.

misc mistranslated words such as, “for old times’ sake” which should be “just in case”, “shall we begin” instead of “so it has begun”, “one hour” instead of “a week”, or failure to make Yoshitoki Commander-in-Chief instead of just an Investigation Lead.

Hmm… Maybe ghouls were humans that had a mutation that made them cannibals, as well as adding certain traits?
Or, maybe the Kagune is a parasite that latched on to certain people and pushed them thru the transformation, like with Kaneki, and when half-ghouls breed their descendants eventually become the full ghouls we see today?
