Transmissions enter one after another. This seems to be taking place before Mutsuki was found.

Special Class Marude is inside the room and is pointing a gun towards Yoshitoki. There are also a number of people behind him.

The color cover is Arima showing only half of his face.

Blood continues to splurt from Arima’s neck as hetumbles backwards. Kaneki panics and rushes towards him.

Kaneki holds Arima’s body as he cries.

Blood flows out from Arima’s mouth.

Arima: Hai….

Then Arima stopped moving. Kaneki embraces him.

Nothing is ok.

So does that mean the “Special Bloodlines” have some ghoul heritage? It doesn’t state that hybrids cannot reproduce, merely that they age faster. So they could very well have had children prior to dying, and those kids inherited the enhanced physical abilities?

…..if so, that means the Kuroiwas and Amon have ghoul blood.

Yoshitoki: I’ve always thought that the Special Class Marude that I know wasn’t this thoughtless/foolish…
Yoshitoki: Me, along with Arima. We’ve all known each other for a long time, correct?
Yoshitoki: It doesn’t make sense for you to notice something like this. If you want, you can check the inspection records of Arima and the rest after this operation.

Marude shoots and Yoshitoki falls onto the ground.

In another room, Matsuri hears the gunshot.

Back to Marude and Yoshitoki, the bullet pierces Yoshitoki’s forehead. Just in case, Marude talks to the people who are carrying Quinque cases.

“Special Class Marude…”

Marude: …

They all continue to look at Yoshitoki’s body on the ground. It remains motionless and blood flows out from his head.

Marude: …This…
Marude: …Let this please just remain a ‘murder’…

Yoshitoki gets up, both eyes with activated kakugan.

Yoshitoki: I’m disappointed, Maru.

Marude: (What the hell. Shit.)
