It’s good to see Ishida’s ideas from the anime drafts have not been completely wasted. The very fact this arc was centred around the Cochlea made me wonder how much from the anime drafts Ishida would include.
And with that Kaneki makes his return to the CCG almost impossible.
Unless of course he lies and say something like. “Oh I was moving Fueguchi from her cell secretly because I knew that’s the first place those who broke in would go.”
