P.S: After Ihei’s death, I am so obsessed with the thought that Arima will die someday, so I drew this
some of hirako’s omakes dealing with his neck and the death god tho..
1. “Let us fight. Even if the God of Death will point his blade at my throat.“
2. CCG’s God of Death killing a fly but it’s a strange composition, slashing X across Hirako’s neck. For such a simple omake, it would have been easy for Ishida to rework the awkward composition differently.
3. Hirako clutching his neck with Arima in the bg observing. “I felt death approaching” is Hirako’s comment about this scene.

I’ll just add another small tidbit that in the game TG Jail (Hirako doesn’t appear there tho), after you fight and beat Arima, you’ll be awarded a skill and trophy called ‘the Reaper’s Blade’ (死神の刃).
If you use said skill in battle, Arima appear for a short cutscene.
I checked the TG Jail book for Arima’s endings and they’re labelled ‘Reaper’s Blade’ as well (which means Ishida-sensei composed the name of the ending).
