Cream: The oldest, he’s the most mature and focused
Jelly: Cream’s brother, he is a bit lazy, but Doris has trained him to do the paperwork, and he’s very good at it (if Momo can talk this dog can do paperwork leave me alone)
Sprinkles: The rookie. She’s very enthusiastic, and wants to prove herself, but she can get distracted or tricked some times (one time Curt was able to trade her a doughnut for the key to his handcuffs, so Doris put her on probation)
Jelly and Cream were Doris’ pets. They’re named after their favorite kind of doughnut. When she heard she was in line for a promotion that would move her around a lot, she was worried about leaving them a lot, so she tried to get them approved for K9 Unit training. The program refused to take corgis, so she trained them herself, and they passed the exam with flying colors. So, the Police Chief approved them as her partners on a trial basis.
Sprinkles used to be a dog at an animal testing facility that Doris and Co busted for illegal activity; she was so greatful to them for rescuing her that she wanted to become a Police Dog like the boys, and Doris agreed to take her in. At her welcome party, she ate all of the Sprinkled doughnuts and so that became her name.
Anyway Curt often has doughnuts for the dogs when they catch up with them.
I live for Megaera’s “pet” stories because they ARE life itself. The air I breathe is full of Jelly and Cream (with a dash of Sprinkles and some side Cuddles and where is that honey bear heist story???)
