Romelle just having the weirdest weekend tbh.  She’s never left her home planet.  She’s seen like three Galra ever.  She doesn’t begin to know how to fight or pilot a spaceship or anything.  She’s just trying to get some answers re: what happened to her family, and suddenly she’s trying to help fix a giant flying castle after some rando spontaneously flipped out and started attacking his friends while two giant robots have a fistfight in the astral plane and lowkey destroy the fabric of spacetime.  At least when the paladins started out everyone was equally confused.
