Blizzard homogenizing lady heroes and refusing to objectify their dude heroes is a great example of limited character design.

Refusal to “tighten” their guy designs = fellas wearing loose and baggy clothes to cover their butts and crotch = the same silhouette and poop shorts for every dude. Even local hoe Genji is subjected to poopy pants his silhouette isn’t designed for with some of his skins. Going through all this effort to block a dude’s ass and junk is a waste of time and effort, Jeffrey Overwatch. Showing your butt doesn’t even have to be sexual, Jeff, but you’re being weird about it. Imagine pooping yourself because you don’t want someone to look at your butt, Jeffrey.

Sustaining the same proportions and feminization of their lady heroes limits creative potential and clear design = weirdly unnecessarily hyper feminine and skimpy designs = eerie skins, waste of effort, loss of potential loot box dosh, guys being super weird about Mercy’s exposed feet and boobs on the forums, Jeff. A big buff lady robot like Orisa was given a less threatening design with smaller proportions; Ana’s wrinkles removed; Mei’s chubby face removed; Tracer’s strong nose removed; Sombra’s entire face turned anime; Symmetra only has two skins where she’s fully clothed; Zarya, Mercy, and D.Va were given visible breasts. Widowmaker’s spine is a bendy straw, Jeff.

Are poopy pants and sexualised ladies bad? No.

Are poopy pants tied to dudes and sexualised content restricted to ladies bad? Yes.

Is it weird femininity is tied to sexy stuff and masculinity with poopy pants? Yes.

Is homogenized design bad? God yes.

Blizzard wanted to create a diverse set of characters to reflect a positive outlook on this near future, and that future is full of poopy pants and Symmetra wearing a metal thong.

Thanks, Jeff Poopy Pants Kaplan

Im sure this post raises some good points but when i actually sat down to read it, it felt like i was having a stroke.
