I just want firm, red cherries that are sweet and tart with a juiciness that rolls over my tongue. Is that too much to ask?
Raspberries that aren’t moldy would be nice, too. Peaches that are actually juicy and soft. Blackberries that don’t taste like gasoline. Apples and watermelons that are more than flavored foam. Grapes that are more than just sweet.
Dicks metaphors aside, I’m beginning to understand why people would consider selling their souls for some actually tasty fruit.
