Plus, there’s the Rushima operation to get through first. If anyone survives that, then we can think about Christmas, I suppose? The higher-ups suspect that to take anywhere from a week (mistranslated by MS as an hour) to a month. One leaves ample time for Christmas prep, the other might run right through the holiday.

Besides, there’s Kaneki and Arima’s birthday to contend with first. With everything about to go down, let’s first see if they both make it to that alive. (I suspect they will, though Kaneki is kind of banking on not making it, poor boy. I don’t think Kaneki will quite make it to that showdown the way he anticipates. I think there is a lot left that has to happen before V14 take 2, but only Ishida knows.)

No, we aren’t getting any sort of light hearted breather chapters anytime soon.

I think we’re going to be treated to quite a bit of action happening in the last weeks of November/first part of December, too.

But I’d love to see Uta and the :re folks sooner than that.

It’d be nice to know what they think of all this. I kinda hope Yomo keeps tabs on Ayato from a distance is aware of his plans, and is mulling over what to do about it. I would really love :re to help Ayato on this Cochlea breakout thing, because right now, Ayato is the only even A rated ghoul on that team. He’s SS, but that isn’t going to help if he’s the only one. Hopefully Banjou’s improved? Still, it’s him and canon fodder. It’d be nice to have the backup of his S~ sister, S+ Nishiki, and ?? Uncle Yomo.

And after those Furuta/Souta reveals, Ishida owes us some Clown time. Please explain things, Sensei…
