Kaneki spends a lot of nights out late and Hide always tries to wait up for him, worrying when he will come back and IF he will come back at all. When Kaneki finally gets home, he usually finds Hide passed out on the couch, sometimes with dried tear-tracks down his cheeks. He carries Hide to bed, only rousing Hide enough to let him know he is safe before cuddling him back to sleep
