A chanson is in general any lyric-driven French song, usually polyphonic and secular. A singer specializing in chansons is known as a “chanteur” (male) or “chanteuse” (female); a collection of chansons, especially from the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, is also known as a chansonnier.
As for the Chanson cafe in Ginza, Ginpari literally means ‘Silver Paris’.
Oh, Anon, I don’t think I ever once said he “did nothing wrong” :”D But since you insist…
*Clears throat.*
This is Tsukiyama Shuu.
He is my fave.
He has done quite a few things wrong. Here are just a few:
-Ate a city councilman’s balls. -This is not how you win an outstanding citizen’s award. -Stole a woman’s eyes. -Literally. Right out of her sockets. -Tried to eat dear Kaneki several times. -Even included dinner and a show in the first instance. Everyone knows that’s a second date thing, Shuu... -Wore these shoes.
-What. Are. THOOOSSSEEEE. -And this suit…
-Sweatie, no :c It looks like something Austin Powers wore and we all know that you have better clothes that that…. *gestures at literally anything else* -At the very least developed strong, STRONG platonic care and most likely romantic feelings for Kaneki, but didn’t realise it until it was too late -Bby look at that it’s your beautiful character development at work and this is why you are my fave because you changed so much throughout the manga and didn’t stay a one dimensional Bad Guy™ or a Can Do No Harm Ever Good Guy™ (which is literally impossible to be in real life since everyone makes some sort of mistake) and that’s what makes a good character. Change. Development. Multiple layers. Dimension. Deviation. Damn good looks in this case. Bless. Thank. Good day. (^_-)—☆
I’M ALSO CURIOUS ABOUT THAT! Ah, I have so many TsukiKane-related questions like…
What happened after that scene you mentioned?
Did Tsukiyama take Kaneki to Anteiku? Did he personally drive him with his car (if he can drive) or did he just tell his chauffeur drive him while he stayed to have dinner at the GR??
What happened during their sparrings together?
How often did they spar? Who won more often? Did something interesting *cough( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)cough* happen?
The 6 month time-skip started in the end of December and lasted until the beginning of summer so that means Tsukiyama’s birthday was during this period.
Did he celebrate it with Kaneki? Did Kaneki buy him a gift? Maybe flowers?
How did Tsukiyama find out about Kaneki going to the Anteiku raid?
I want to see his first reaction in the moment he first heard about it. And than what happened before he ran to the rooftop!
THE BATTLE SUIT!!!
Ishida, tell me more about the designing of this battle suit! I just… need to know!
Did they go on vacations together as the calendar omake suggests?
If so, how often? Where? Did they sit next to each other on the bus/train/whatever vehicle? Did they sleep in the same room? :O
This quote from the novels needs more explaining:
“The legend Kaneki-kun and I create together will definitely reach your ears! Since cooperating with him, every day is ‘Spicy & Spicy’! You’ve seen it too haven’t you! A radiance that I have never had before! So long as I can be with Kaneki-kun what does the money I spend for his time matter. The longer we spend with each other the more our relationship of trust can deepen…”
"After Kaneki left, I slowly began to die. But inside my heart
I was question myself. I... No doubt... enjoyed myself. The days
I just gazed at the feast that was served in front of me... I
really enjoyed those days." | for @psychohelmet
