I can’t be happy with Takizawa jumping on Tatara’s back and seemingly stopping him from killing Hoji.

Because I know this fight ends up no matter what with Takizawa trying to strangle Akira.

And I know whatever journey that takes will be painful.
(unless he’s not and last week’s image was a trick as they never showed Takizawa’s arm directly connected to Akira’s throat).

In the next moment, Tatara suddenly closes in on the investigators.

Tatara: Ho
Investigator: !! Eeek…
Tatara: uji.

In one swipe, several investigators lose their heads. Tatara starts walking towards the rest of the investigators.

Tatara: Hoo
Tatara: Hooo~~
Tatara: Hooooooo~~

Akira: Ukakus, all shoot!

The investigators all shoot under Akira’s instruction. Tatara blocks the intense attack with both of his arms.

Tatara: (B U R N)

The faces of the investigators go on fire.

NOOOOOOOO!!
AAAAGHHHH!!

Akira: (The emissions from a highly-dense kagune can create a pyro-blast at over 4000C.)
Akira: (Tongue of fire, huh.)

Akira manages to dodge the flames. The bodies next to Akira are engulfed in flames.

Houji: (The firewood fueling the fire.)
Houji: …Is this your revenge towards me?

Tatara is accumulating the flames once again.

Tatara: (The strength of the flames…)
Tatara: (Is that of the strength of my feelings towards my brother…)

Tatara emits fire once again and it engulfs the investigators.

Tatara: (The fire of hatred will continue to blaze away until it is fulfilled.)

The investigators continue to scream in pain.

The spark of a long-standing grudge, never faded out…

Tatara is seen standing in the middle of an abandoned building. Instead of lights, there are firewood laying around. The fire crackles next to Tatara.

Tatara: Houji.
Tatara: I’m happy.
Tatara: That everything will end today.
Tatara: My regrets for my brother, and my hatred for you.
Tatara: And also…
Tatara: (Aogiri’s Tree.)

Houji: …True. It should be the end, for you at least.
Houji: I’ll have you dead.

Tatara slips a hand in the collar of his coat.

Tatara: …I really still do hate you.

Tatara activates his kagune while removing his coat. And in a matter of seconds, his entire body is wrapped in kagune. A number of eyes appear going round and round. The investigators look at him in fear.

Investigators: K-Kakuja…

Houji calmly watches Tatara.

Houji: …You resemble him. Your brother.

Tatara: Hoji. Hoji. Hoooojiiiii.
