Kitahara Hakushu is regarded as one of the most popular and important poets in Japanese literature.
There have been a number of works by Kitahara Hakushu which have been mentioned in the entirety of Tokyo Ghoul. The one mentioned in this entry is the poem that Kaneki recited during his battle with Arima which is an excerpt of the ‘Song of the Ancient Ainu’.

Despite drawing HK most of the time, I do enjoy many other ships but I just never draw them out for some reason? But thanks to you, I’ve doodled some pairings that pop up in my head first, although I’m sure there are other ships out there that I’m interested in but I can’t seem to remember them right now.
