The last chapter reminded me of the time Kaneki “talked to Rize” about his father and how he came to read a lot of books. The quote comes from then (chapter 62)

I noticed that as well tbh but I haven’t been able to gather my thoughts properly with regards to this topic. But eh, here goes nothing. :,D Again, please take whatever I say here with a grain of salt.
So to anyone curious, the anon is referring to this image in particular where it looks like there’s a red needle passing thru his throat.
And what’s more is that the text around him are sliced and if you look at the full image here, you can see there his clothes are stained in red (which appear too be tire marks?) which is a big contrast to his usual monochrome color.
