I listened to this while I was painting. “Paper, Paper” by BRON-K feat. NORIKIYO.

I forgot the significance of Kaneki using ‘anata’ to address someone. Could you please tell me why its so important?

TL;DR the use of anata is significant because it’s informal and depending on context can be pretty personal. For reference, other than meaning you, it can also be used as honey, dear, darling, my love, etc. and is usually used by married couples.
